Between Christmas and New Year a 100km ride from Ebbsfleet station back to Canterbury.

What a great ride. Well done to the ten hardy souls that braved the icy conditions. Having covered only ten miles in the first hour, and a lot of ice, it looked like we were in for a long ride.

The ice claimed three riders, Barry tumbled first then Ian and myself but fortunately we were only travelling at around 6 mph so no major problems. After descending from Wrotham the roads got a lot better and with blue skies we had a great ride. Well done all.
