As lockdown restrictions were easing a group of club members took the opportunity to head out for a two day gravel adventure around the lanes, byways and bridle paths of East Kent covering 100 miles in total.

Day one started in Canterbury with 60 miles to be covered to get to the overnight campsite at Hucking on the North Downs.

Day two the riders left the campsite at Hucking in what turned out to be biblical weather. Rain made the conditions under tyre hard work with a few hike-a-bike sections required. Conditions improved as the route hit the northern coast of Kent for the run into Whitstable and finally back to Canterbury.
