From 31st August for 4 days, Kevin rode from Dunkirk to Paris, raising money for the British Legion.
According to Kevin:
This year is the 50th anniversary of the death of my great grandfather. He fought in both wars and was involved in the evacuation of troops from Dunkirk.
He never talked about the war but through war records, letters to his wife and a page that he tore from the ship’s log, his story has been pieced together.
This cycling trip has become a tribute to him.
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. On this journey I met several ex servicemen who suffered in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
